Everything else consisted of sprinkles of Everything But The Girl, Radiohead: King of Limbs, Portished:3rd, Flying Lotus: Flamagra, Mac Miller "objects in mirror", Depeche Mode "stripped", Massive Attack "Saturday comes slow", Mad Season, Team Sleep, Tyler the Creator:Flower Boy, Bjork :Post, Homogenic and Vespertine, Chris Cornell "preaching the end of the world", Boom Boom Satellites, BadbadNotgood, UNKLE, Duncan Sheik, Jeff Buckley:Grace, and a couple of other albums that had some nice bittersweet melancholic music that convey that sense of life, death, loss and love, which I figured it was the right mix to make a short comic.
Frank Miller has always been an influence, in addition to Paul Pope, so I figured id play around with silhouettes a bit more. And because I made a poll, majority voted yes for an early post of this Valentine's day comic. The only regret is that I had to crop down the image since they were a bit big on Instagram.
